Why?

School is an age of discovery -- new friends are made, wonderful games invented, imagination wanders wide, hopes float high, strange ideas get explored and simple discoveries stimulate little heads.

Late in my fifth grade, I borrowed her history notebook for copying some class work; of course, it was obvious that I was not in the habit of writing anything on mine unless inspection day approached and it was that time of the year. Little did I wonder about the asymmetry involved in the process of opening a notebook - it was always the front end I was worried about but when I opened the wrong side of the notebook, I had opened the doors to a side of life I never imagined to exist.

I was greeted by funny faces, obscure cartoons and multicolored words filled with profound statements (which I found remarkably amusing then). People write funny things on the last page of their notebooks, to serve as core dumps of their thoughts, feelings and repressed emotions that can never be vent elsewhere. And I loved sneaking into where rules forbade.

Ever since, I have thoroughly enjoyed trespassing into The last pages, assimilating figments of imagination that can never find an equal in the kingdom of words. As time flew by, I have expanded my activities to include reading other people's diaries, blogs and even thoughts (the last without much success).

Maybe, it offered me a certain sense of companionship and closeness with humanity or perhaps it was just voyeuristic satisfaction. Anyways, I did not bother to investigate and no one told me to either...

As I read through the jammed lines of world thought, there comes this time when the urge to give back becomes so hard to hold back...

So here it is - from a cow with love. Enjoy my blogs!

Writting a blog reminds me of a cow that sits over the hill after a sumptous meal, waiting to masticate all the delicious food slowly and without hurry. And "The Moo Diaries" is in honor of all those cows that will never get to write a blog. Of course, its a pun on "dairy".
