@LC: The sunsets are really beautiful in NM... go south of the city in ABQ, turn west towards Gallup and you can see a magnificient horizon. The sparse clouds which never bring rain add more colours to the sky.... Summer is a great time in NM if you don't mind the heat...
Awesome :D
I think this is one site I would have liked better in real life than in the photo...
Why such foreboding?
Beautiful sunsets will be there as long as there is someone to appreciate it.
I meant sight, not site
@kittu: Yes, true. I have been to the place you mentioned twice - you see, some of my relatives are in Gallup - so I drive there once in a while. Btw, no self-respecting Madrasi would mind the heat! So, bring it on! :)
@kumari: Thank you! It was much better in real life.
@b-a-l: Yeah. If you are lucky, you would catch a few of these on your trip to Santa Fe...
@bdeshini: I was a bit frustrated as I did not have a tripod with me and could not get the right exposure on the pano. I was too tired (it was the day of the FE) and this was on the way back to los alamos. So, I just drove on assuming a divine miracle would make the photo look magical. When that did not happen, a stark caption turned up. :)
@rhythm: Thank you!
