Perfection

A compromising man,
Loved by all.
A compromising musician,
None at all!

Depends on what is more important- Being desired or simply being?

Compromises are accepted in some alleys but not everywhere :)

@betterhalf: Simply being perhaps? But it is not really an honest answer. I find it impossible to simply be without the occasional feeling of desiring or being desired. We all live at various distances from the two extremes - the sages live in the state of simply being, the britney spears of this world in a state of being desired. I fluctuate without reaching either extreme.

@kumari: Thats what makes it so hard to make up one's mind - is a compromise good or bad?

Umm..I get your point and we earthy beings cannot really be in a vaccumed space without being moved at all even a wee bit! The point I was trying to make however was that one cant give up on the core self just to please X,Y,Z.
Is compromise good or bad? We do some lill things once in a while to earn the laurels of that special someone, maybe those special few but the moment we look upon it as a compromise it loses it's charm.

Yes, betterhalf. If only wisdom stops its bad habit of arriving late all the time! Your point well-taken.
