@kittu: it was disturbing at some places but really, the message of the story is one of accepting mistakes that happen and that hope is never lost! i found it redeeming and to be a movie from which i had a lot to learn, especially in correcting prejudices. maybe you should see it again!
all that apart, it was an excellent piece of film making - the way in which the story was weaved together, the melodramatic scenes, the cinematography, dialogues, cast all fit in perfectly well!
Bala, I concur. Its a brilliant movie and ofcourse not a pure watch and forget types. The way the story was woven around, connecting everyone in the end was really brilliant and higlighted how no man or his ideas (and prejudices) can be an island. @
@atma_tripta: There are other good movies that make you stop and think long after the closing credits have rolled in. But what made this movie stand out is the style of narration... it gave me the same feeling of making a blunder and sitting with a frown, when your mom or grandmom walks in , understands it all and says, "its ok... you are not that bad afterall. you will do much better the next time around!"... :)
