Vanishing Faith: Vinayagar, Charcoal on canvas
                                           Liquified in Adobe Photoshop
                                           2006

ps: For what its worth (it is, very much!), my sis has branded this work as amateurish (and added that it looked like the work of a little kid) and wondered if i stole it from my little cousins in phoenix...

Dude... I thought it was being sold and you had bought it when I saw it initially... Way to go man... Maybe your plan for world domination could be to make masterpieces and then steal them yourself ;)

@b-a-l: stealing my own paintings?

...that would be my 'crowning' achievement! i dont like rene russo though.

... or did you mean that no one else will? ;-)

The masterplan is as follows. You make a couple of dozen above mediocre paintings. They are still considered "pieces" at this stage. You stage your death. The "pieces" become master"pieces" and go to some museum. Hundreds of thousands of people will flock to get a glimpse of the master"pieces". The stage is set for the dead to start stealing the master"pieces". Dont worry about Rene Russo. I think in this case the feeling might be mutual ;)

@b-a-l: brilliant, brilliant plan! this is by far the best plan you have come with in your entire life (ahem, after the "empty tomb" incident of course!) ;-)

When you put pen on paper,
Words just seem to flow,
With none to stop them,
Spawning a certain beauty,
Never quite knew that the writer,
Could also play around with myriad hues of colour.
A nice one to start and quite an appropriate one if i may add

Abandon, I shall, my terse
And try my hand at some simple verse:
You flatter me with compliments many,
Despite works that lack any epiphany.
Gracious as you were in your praise,
Let me burden you with my malaise:
You see, I feel like a measly mime,
After reading your poems that ooze passionate rhyme.
So I am humbled hearing what you say,
Afterall, you are the master of it all, if I may!
